Data You Give Us Directly
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address entered to the outside provider that supplies results. Kirkland People Search does not retain a server-side copy of those queries. A message sent through the contact route contains only the details the sender chooses to provide, and those details are used to answer the inquiry.
Data We Gather Automatically
Hosting systems create routine logs that can include an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps diagnose faults and show which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic traffic analysis and advertising measurement where those features apply.
What We Do With This Data
Collected technical data supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and content updates. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual browsing profiles are not created.
Privacy on Outside Websites
Links lead to government portals, county and state offices, library collections, and outside search services. Information entered after leaving Kirkland People Search is controlled by the destination's privacy policy. That distinction also applies to sponsored results supplied by an outside company.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process routine logs for site operation. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic technical data described above. Information can also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it; visitor data is not otherwise shared.
Safeguards and Retention
An encrypted connection protects data in transit. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Since the service has no visitor accounts, it stores no visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Privacy rights depend on the data and governing law. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, addresses covered consumer-health data outside HIPAA, but excludes government records and widely distributed information under RCW 19.373.010. A request may ask for contact-mailbox or server-log data through the Contact page. Public records held by Kirkland, King County, or Washington offices remain under the custodian's control and must be addressed there.
Changes to This Policy
A revised policy will be posted here when practices change. Continued use after publication indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
